The Pamet Harbor Club is pleased to offer tennis lessons through Andy Lisle. Lessons will take place on the hard court, as a general rule.
About the Coach: Andy Lisle has been a Tennis Coach for 30 years. Formerly from Maine, he served for many years as the Head Coach for the Brunswick High School Tennis Team and went on to coach in Portland, Maine for the Portland High School Tennis Teams. He also has served as an Assistant Coach at Bowdoin College for their Mens and Womens Tennis and Squash Teams. Andy got his start in coaching at Windridge Tennis Camp in Craftsbury Common Vermont where he was a former camper for many years. After Windridge he became a Teaching Pro at Institut Le Rossey in Rolle, Switzerland. And then went on to become a Teaching Pro at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Arizona.
Andy’s coaching philosophy is that every tennis player is unique. His toolbox of tips and drills can be applied to players of all ages, levels, and abilities. He also believes that enjoyment of the game of Tennis is paramount and he always looks to engage and encourage his students during his lessons. His lessons consist of drills that improve a players strokes while at the same time allowing the player to apply what they have learned to match play. He believes Players will enjoy the game of Tennis more if they are able to successfully complete these drills in what he calls Situational Tennis Instruction.
